anyone can dance..so no worries, no dancing skills required.


ADULT:  Bollywood* dance fitness is a super HAPPY, FUN, EASY dance fitness workout that
fuses 1) Indian folk dance movements, e.g.  Bhangra, giddha 2) classical Indian dance, e.g.
kathak, bharatanatyam, kuchipudi, etc. and 3) Western music, e.g. disco, hip hop, funk, Latin
American, etc.

This 45-minute dance fitness class is perfect for anyone who is looking for a cardio exercise.   It’s a
full-body workout -  lots of arm,  upper/lower body movements and leg movements...and of
course to super FUN, HAPPY music.  The class will provide different options of fitness level (low,
medium, high impact).  This is a movement class so there are no dancing skills required.

TEEN/PRE-TEEN: Usually a 45-minute class where kids (from ages 5-17) learn
various Bollywood dance techniques.

*Bollywood is a play on the word “Hollywood”  which refers to the  Hindi cinema.  B is for Bombay (now Mumbai).
